In downtown Taipei, within a short walk from Taipei 101 and surrounded by trendy shopping centers and skyscrapers there is a quiet place to go for a break: La Bon cafe '.
A Taipei esistono centinaia di caffetterie, alla moda, più o meno care, alcune buone, altre meno, ma questa ha delle particolarità che la rendono veramente interessante ed accogliente. Innanzi tutto il locale ha un design semplice ma accattivante, estremamente pulito e curato nei dettagli offre la possibilità di consumare un caffè o un brunch in un ambiente confortevole, con musica rilassante e mai troppo alta. Il menù e' sia in mandarino che in inglese e lo staff e' gentile e disponibile.
In Taipei there are hundreds of cafes, fashionable, less fashionable, more or less expensive, some good and some not really, but this one has a special features that make it really interesting and welcoming. First, the place has a simple but attractive design, extremely clean with nice details that allow you to have a coffee or a brunch in a comfortable atmosphere with relaxing music. The menu is both in Mandarin and English, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Ciò che colpisce del locale, a parte la varietà del menù, e' il fatto che il caffè viene preparato con miscele differenti tutte comunque gradevoli e non troppo forti, inoltre le attrezzature sono tutte rigorosamente Made in Italy. Se volete un espresso o un cappuccino che sappia di Italia vi consiglio di cercarlo qui! Il locale ha vinto quest'anno il world barista championship tenutosi a Dublino e questo la dice lunga sulla qualità di ciò che ordinerete.
beside the variety of the menu, what I like is that the coffee is made with different blends very pleasant and not too strong, also equipment are all strictly Made in Italy. If you want an espresso or a cappuccino "Italian style", I really recommend this place!
The restaurant has won this year's world barista championship held in Dublin. La Bon cafe' e' uno di quei posti dove amo trascorrere qualche ora in solitudine a Taipei, staccando dal lavoro e immergendomi nella lettura di un buon libro accompagnato dall'aroma del caffè. Tuttavia il modo migliore per godersi questo posto è sicuramente in compagnia: l'ideale per un appuntamento galante o per incontrarsi con un amico, magari dopo aver fatto un po' di shopping presso il famoso e frequentatissimo centro commerciale Breeze, che dista solo 5 minuti dal locale.
Le Bon cafe' is one of those places where I love to spend some quiet time in Taipei, disconnecting from work or reading a good book with the aroma of coffee. However the best way to enjoy this place is definitely in the company: great for a date or to meet up with a friend, perhaps after some shopping at the famous and very popular shopping center Breeze, which is only 5 minutes from the place.
La bon caffè può essere raggiunto facilmente sia in taxi oppure in metro con la linea blu, fermata Taipei City Hall. Non vi consiglio di prendere l'autobus che inevitabilmente rimarrà imbottigliato nel traffico della capitale. Per concludere vi invito a provare questo locale, ordinando un classico cappuccino all'italiana, sono sicuro che dopo mi ringrazierete per la dritta!
La Bon caffe' can be easily reached by taxi or from the central station or on the metro blue line, stop at Taipei City Hall. I would not suggest you to take the bus which will remain stacked in the traffic of Taipei. I suggest you to try this place, ordering a classic Italian cappuccino, I'm sure you will thank me!
